The Hacienda Hotel is located on Main Street in New Port Richey, FL along the Cotee River. The Hacienda was built in the 1920's and has an interesting history which I'll insert in my next post. There have been various rumors about the next incarnation for the building but the hotel is not currently in use.This is a heavily textured oil painting on an 11x14" canvas support. This structure reminds me of Old Town in San Diego, CA. Very nice painting!
Maybe that's why I'm so drawn to this building -- I spent a lot of time in San Diego and Old Town when I was growing up. Thanks BJ.
